Vasudha has been garnering attention not only for its unique storyline but also for an extraordinary character—a dog named Gulki. While Gulki’s thought bubbles and witty commentary through voiceover captivate audiences, her presence on set has become equally special for the cast, including the talented Nausheen Ali Sardar.
Known for her powerful performances, Nausheen plays a pivotal role in Vasudha as Chandrika and shares the screen with the adorable Gulki. The dog, whose voice and thoughts are exclusive to the audience, mirrors the perspectives, providing humorous insights and heartfelt moments. Gulki’s unique charm has made her an indispensable part of the storyline and a favourite among the cast and crew.
Nausheen Ali Sardar said, “Working with Gulki, whose real name is Ruby, has been such a joyful experience. She’s a beautiful, warm, and friendly dog who lights up the set. Everyone is excited when she’s around, and I love playing tricks with her, pampering her with treats, and watching her do zoomies. Gulki isn’t just a pet; she’s like a co-star who brings spontaneity and charm to every scene. Her playful and vibrant energy makes our shoots so much more enjoyable. I’ve always loved dogs, and Gulki has deepened that affection. I’m sure viewers will feel the same connection when they see us together on screen.”
As Vasudha continues to delve into a heartwarming tale of love, family, and life’s little surprises, Nausheen Ali Sardar and Gulki’s delightful on-screen chemistry is set to add a magical touch to the show.
