While cats are well-known for making biscuits, a recent clip on Instagram shows a cute little pup doing the same. In a video shared by @itsallaboutmaisie, a miniature Australian Shepherd puppy is seen kneading a blanket, as if trying to make biscuits just like cats, leaving the owner and viewers both amused and confused.

Puppy catches owner by surprise by making biscuits like cats in video

A dog’s playful energy knows no bounds. They can turn even the most mundane moment into a game, transforming any activity into an adventure. Their joy is so contagious that it’s impossible not to laugh along and forget all about the everyday worries.

Viewers can see the same thing in this short video shared by @itsallaboutmaisie on Instagram, capturing a puppy nibbling on a blanket, trying to make biscuits just like cats do. In the clip, the adorable Australian Shepherd uses her little paws to knead the blanket. She gently nibbles on the same to “make biscuits.”

The sight left the owner amused, as the typical “biscuit-making” behavior is usually seen in cats, who do it to express comfort or mark their territory. However, this gesture from a dog is rare. This makes the clip even more hilarious and, at the same time, sparks curiosity among pet owners.

While there were no comments under the post, it’s easy to imagine that the video must have left people laughing as hundreds liked the adorable clip. It’s not every day that one sees a pup following the ways of the feline. While this act is typically reserved for our feline friends, sometimes dogs do it too. Canines do it to either soothe themselves or show affection.

Moreover, Australian Shepherds and their smaller counterparts, Mini Aussies, are known for their high activity levels and playfulness. They are highly energetic and expressive dogs. The breed often uses their paws and mouths to get attention or explore their surroundings, something clearly seen in this hilarious and adorable video.
