The city of Henderson, Nevada has some beautiful city parks and dog parks. One of our favorites is Heritage Park, 350 South Racetrack Road, (Bark Park off of Burkholder Boulevard). Hours: 6am-10pm. Google Map.
Bark Park at Heritage Park: The Bark Park is the City of Henderson’s largest and most unique dog park. It was designed with input from pet owners and regular dog park users to ensure the design and amenities meet the needs of our community. The 5-acre Bark Park features separate dog runs, agility course, walking trail, dog bone-themed benches, and drinking stations for pets (and some for people too). The Bark Park hosts classes and programs, and can also accommodate small dog shows and events.
The Bark Park is also home to Barkules, an 6-foot tall, oversized play structure.
A splash pad is also available at the Bark Park. It is just for dogs (NO humans) and is open daily from 7am to 6pm, May 1 through September 30. Please note that all park rules apply.
