Showering praises upon the “gorgeous” dog, the owner proceeded to tell the woman her name before the stranger quipped, “Nobody wants to know your name.”
Jackie Hornung laughingly agreed at the woman’s response and said, “Yeah, I don’t matter.” The woman proceeded to continue her pats for Lumi, marking a viral moment. Hornung opened up about Lumi to Newsweek and said, “People always come up to Lumi and pet him, or if they don’t, they always pass by him, calling him ‘adorable’ and ‘the fluffiest dog they’ve ever seen.” Expressing love for the stranger’s loving interaction with her pet, the owner revealed that when people like the woman ask permission, it respects not just the dog owners but also the canines themselves.
