This pet psychic knows what your pet is thinking

If you’ve ever stared deep into your pet’s eyes and wondered what they were thinking, a session with pet psychic Shira Plotzker may be the answer.

“As a pet communicator, I’m able to talk to pets both living and those who have passed,” said Plotzker.

“I’m able to help pet parents connect better with their pets because I know what they’re thinking.”

Psychic Shira Plotzker helps owners connect to their pets.

Plotzker, who lives in Nyack, NY, charges $275 for an hourlong virtual reading.

“They tell me whether they like wearing pet clothing, how they like where they live and how they’re feeling. Dogs are beyond smart,” she added.

“But what I think dog parents don’t know is that they can communicate and have a deep relationship with their dog on this level. Most people see dog as their baby and want to take care of them, but I don’t think they expect for there to be this level of communication and understanding of what their dog is thinking.”

Plotzker also works with cats, horses, exotic animals like snakes and bearded dragons, elephants and the horses working the hansom cabs in Central Park.

“A hansom cab guy called me and told me one of the horses wasn’t eating,” recalled Plotzker.

“The horse told me he had a toothache and he’d like to see a dentist, please. They brought a dentist in who fixed his tooth and the horse started to eat again.”

Plotzker often walks up to dog owners and asks if she can speak with their pups, and the most incredible moment occurred in a supermarket parking when she met a dog named Zoe.

Plotzker will host virtual readings as the “pup psychic in residence” at downtown Walker Hotels. alswart – stock.adobe.com

“I asked the owner about a beige dog that also lived in the house,” Plotzker said.

“She told me that dog is her son’s and I told her that this dog is going to teach her son a level of love that he could never learn from another human being. She then told me the dog and her son were in a car accident. The car flipped over three times and the dog pulled the son out of the driver side window. At that moment, I knew I needed to do this work.”

Through the end of August, Plotzker will be conducting virtual readings as a pup psychic in residence at the luxe (and dog-friendly) Walker Hotels in Tribeca and Greenwich Village, as part of a new wellness-forward offering for four-legged guests called the Inner Pup Package.

The package includes a day pass to Happy Tails, Tribeca’s doggy daycare and an in-room menu featuring Ollie’s recipes, treats and nondairy peanut butter and banana ice cream.

(Room rates including the package start at $295 per night.)

However, getting that five- to 10-minute virtual reading with Plotzker is likely to prompt the most intrigue.

“Pet parents will leave the hotel feeling inspired and will walk out the door on cloud nine,” she said.

“I know they’ll leave feeling way more connected to their pup.”
