Bengaluru: Owning a dog is a dream for many. There are people who spend a lot of money on owning and maintaining a canine. Some treat pets like a family member.

According to reports, the Bengaluru man is popular and famous for owning a number of expensive and rare breed of dogs. But in case of this particular breed he has spent a whooping 5.7 million dollars (approximately Rs. 50 crore).

This rare “wolfdog” breed is called Cadabombs Okami and is one of its kind in the entire country.

The man said that he spent the huge amount of 50 crores in rupees on buying this pup because he is fond of dogs and likes to own unique dog breeds and introduce them to India. The man has been identified as Satish.

This particular dog that was born in the United States is only eight months old and already weighs more than 5 kilograms. He eats 3 kgs of raw meat on a daily basis. Cadaboms Okami is only one of its kind in India.

The American Kennel Club said that the most expensive dog, Okami is a part Shepherd dog and a part guardian breed. This breed is known for its protective instincts and astute intelligence.

The man was in news two years back when he bought a dog from Hyderabad at a whopping cost of Rs 20 crore. Satish had named the Caucasian Shepherd “Cadabom Hayder.” The dog was about 1.5 years old when he bought it.

It is to be noted that the Caucasian Shepherd breed is mostly found in places like Armenia, Circassia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Dagestan, and Georgia. These livestock guardian dogs are native to the Caucasus region and are known to be one of the best shepherd dogs. They mainly serve as guard dogs and possess a unique ability to attack wolves. In fact, one Caucasian Shepherd can also be seen guarding prisons in Russia.

Reportedly, Satish owns several pet dogs including, Korean Dosa Mastiffs, Tibetan Mastiff, and Alaskan Malamute which he purchased at a cost of Rs 1 crore, Rs 10 crore, and Rs 8 crore respectively.
