If you share your home with a furry companion, you must embrace both chaos and cuddles. Even then, the scales don’t always stay balanced, as one usually outweighs the other. Owning a four-legged baby comes with a mixed bag of emotions, most of which are frustration. This dog owner shared hers in an adorable Instagram video of her Golden Retriever puppy’s dramatic zoomies, fearing she might never know peace for one specific hour every evening.

Internet relates to owner’s confession about dog’s evening zoomies in video

Life of a pet is full of cuddles and silliness, but more often than not, it’s their mischief that steals the spotlight. They also guarantee a cocktail of emotions daily, which means equal parts chaos, snuggles, unlimited kisses, and shocking surprises. But in this Instagram video, a dog owner’s evenings every day have looked the same, at least for an hour, while her Golden Retriever soaks up every second of his zoomies session.

In the post’s subtext, the dog mom, Sophie, shared her fears of never knowing “peace between the hours of 7-8 pm.” Meanwhile, the clip supported her confession with a hilarious video of her Golden boy, Zebby, taking wild sprints around the house, and apparently, it’s something that happens every evening. It first showed the furball nearly falling face-first on the wooden floor as he took off for his frenetic run through the living room and back.

The dog’s zoomies video got the internet relating to his owner’s admission about his fairly disruptive yet fun evening activities. “This is Golden peace,” exclaimed one user, while others shared their own stories about their furry friends. “The crash right at 8 pm is what happens in our house… the whiplash is wild!” wrote a second individual. Another called it a “night time zoofest” at the “witching hour.”

All in all, it’s safe to say that Zebby the Golden Retriever’s dog mom may never know peace in the evenings, but certainly ends her day with an entertaining touch.
