Membership-based dog park with bar coming to Nashville’s Germantown

Atlanta-based Fetch Park plans to open a membership-only dog park complete with a bar and food in Germantown by the end of the year.

A media release did not specify where in Germantown the park will open.

The announcement comes after BARK, the New York-based company behind BarkBox, tested a membership-based dog park and retail experience in East Nashville last year.

Fetch Park was founded in 2018 by Stephen Ochs and his longtime friend and former Atlanta Falcon Garrett Reynolds. The Nashville location will be the second outpost for the brand.

Memberships will cost $20 per month or $10 for a day pass. The dog park will feature a bar, food, TVs, WiFi, cooling stations, a dog bath area and staff to tend to the dogs and make sure the park stays clean.

Monthly social events for members might include comedy nights and singles nights in partnership with the Bumble dating app.

“The goal has always been to expand to Nashville with Germantown as our dream destination for Fetch Park’s first expansion.” Ochs said in a statement. “Nashville is booming with creative, hard-working professionals, which the Fetch Park concept is tailor-made for.”

Dogs must be spayed or neutered and owners must provide a current vaccination record. Dog owners must sign a waiver confirming their dogs are not aggressive.
