If we could, I’m sure most of us humans would spend all day playing with baby goats. It truly doesn’t get cuter than a baby goat! That’s why people love to do yoga with them, and why there are entire farms dedicated to people going there just to pet them.
One adorable German Shepherd is out here living all of our dreams! Whenever he wants, he just gets to play with all of the baby goats his little heart desires. Which, according to this video his mom posted recently, is all of them:
It’s Bear’s World, we’re all just living in it! Lucky for him, his world has expanded to include the goat fence, where he was previously not allowed. They were still so little. There was no safe way to allow Bear, a very-kind-but-still-large German Shepherd, in to play.
Now, Bear is a little bit better behaved than he once was and the goat babies are a little bigger. Under supervision, the sweet boy was allowed inside the fence, and magic ensued. He fits right in with them, and they all know it! Pretty soon, he’ll be their favorite playmate!

Bear knows how to be around young ones: he’s four now, and he has a human baby, a kitten, and tons of baby chickens to gawk at every day. He plays well with them and he just generally means well, so mom knew he’d do great with the baby goats.
They literally adore him, and he’s only been in there a couple of times! Just look at this closer video:
Goats have a tendency to be a little bit timid, so their mama kept Bear away as much as she could. However, they’ve been around for a while now. They’re used to seeing him around, so she knew it was time for them to see him up close. They loved it!
German Shepherds are originally herding dogs, as the name suggests! They were bred for farm work and can still make excellent farm dogs. They just need proper training to make the best herders/bodyguards for your backyard farm!
Careful, though. They may begin to simply think they are one of the farm animals… Legend has it Bear has still not left the goat pen.
