SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Suncoast woman whose life changed after being matched with a guide dog is sharing her story through two guest experiences hosted by Dogs Inc. this March.
Julianna Abbruzzese, a guide dog recipient, said her confidence and independence grew significantly after she was matched with her guide dog, Sky, in June 2024. Abbruzzese has pursued acting, but her vision loss introduced challenges along the way.
She is now appearing in two guest experiences — “Beyond the Dark” and “One More Time With Feeling” — taking place on the Dogs Inc. Palmetto campus in March.
