Working from home has its own perks, especially when you’re a pet parent and need unlimited entertainment throughout the stressful days. Besides, nothing tops having a furry companion by your side while reading work emails to spruce up your day a little. This dog owner’s funny video of their Golden Retriever revealed their concerns had a completely different nature and shared why they always mute work calls. Perhaps it also proved that there are certain downsides to it, such as constantly entertaining them, not the other way around.

Dog Owner reveals Golden Retriever is the reason they are on mute during work calls

Parenting a Golden Retriever is a unique experience on its own, and this dog owner’s video proved why it’s unlike any other. There’s no better company than your beloved furry baby, and nothing hits the spot like spending the whole day with them around doing things they love to do. This feeling remains unmatched, the time together is absolutely top-tier, the distractions are totally worth it, and certainly beats the hubbub of a workplace.

An adorable Instagram video shared the reason why this Golden’s dog owner is on mute during work calls. The clip showed the pet parent sitting at their work setup, and as the camera turned to the left, the frame showed the pooch gently standing next to the desk. The hilarious part about the post was the snoring or snort sound the dog made while being wide awake. The fluffy baby sat on the spot with sleepy eyes, seemingly dozing off but not moving.

The dog owner’s video further claimed that their Golden Retriever’s snort sound was “only a little bit distracting.” Commenters rushed to defend the furry snore machine, with one joking, “God forbid a golden has to respirate.” A second user found it relatable and wrote, “My golden makes that sound when she wants something like if we have food and she needs a bite.” A few others described those noises as “thunder sounds,” “groobles,” or “happy snorts.”
