Dogs will go all out to protect their owners or their favorite hooman. However, they sometimes need protection too. Yes, like humans, these fur babies are also scared of many things, including fireworks and lightning. If your pet pooch also shares the same fear and you often wonder how you can help your fur buddy, take a hint from this dog owner who comforts his Siberian Husky during a thunderstorm in a heartwarming video.

Regardless of their size, dogs do get scared of many things. Some might have a fear of injections, while some might hate talking toys. Even this Husky, Titan, gets scared of one thing — a thunderstorm. But thanks to his thoughtful and loving dad, the canine remains calm through the bad weather.

User @imbluethesiberian uploaded a video showing how a bad thunderstorm in Florida affected their beloved pet dog, Titan, who went straight to his bathtub to feel safe. Looking at their pooch’s condition, the dog owner gets his “favorite blanket and stuffed toy” to make sure the Husky does not get scared. Not only this, the pet parent even sits with Titan in the bathtub, and talks to him for “20 mins,” telling him he is safe.

Titan’s response even left the dog parents surprised, as the canine is “not bothered by fireworks or thunderstorms normally but this one really freaked him out for some reason.” However, owners hope “this won’t happen again but we’ll always take care of our boy.”

The touching video captured everyone’s attention, and many netizens heaped praises on the owners’ caring nature. One user wrote, “You are the kind of parents that every single dog in the world should have!.” Another person commented, “The GOLD STANDARD in parenting, dogs and humans. Such an important post to remind us that we all just want to feel safe.” Thanks to the affection and bonding between the duo, the touching video has more than 242K likes.
