A Henderson pet owner is getting some relief.
Based on the attack that happened earlier this month at the Bark Park at Heritage Park, the city of Henderson labeled one dog dangerous.
Anitra Fierro says her Chihuahua named Glitch was killed by another dog in one of the enclosures.
There are a lot of rules for keeping a dangerous dog. The dog must be muzzled and leashed when it’s outside. It also has to be sterilized and implanted with a microchip.
Monday, May 7 the dangerous dog’s owner can go to court and try to change the decision. Fierro promises to attend.
During the court hearing, both sides can call their own witnesses and show any evidence they have. The final decision is up to the judge.
