During this event from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, 10% of all sales will go towards the Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation .

Description When a curious little French Bulldog puppy wanders onto a bustling construction site, he’s not just looking for adventure, he’s looking for a place to belong. In Safety Dog Diego Gets Adopted, readers meet Diego, a bright-eyed pup with a heart full of curiosity and a tail that won’t stop wagging. As he explores the busy world of hard hats and heavy machines, Diego discovers the importance of safety, teamwork, and responsibility.

With the help of the kind and watchful Safety Guy, Diego learns valuable lessons about being aware, listening carefully, and staying safe on the job. But more importantly, he finds something even greater, a forever home and a brand-new purpose. This heartwarming story, inspired by true events, is the perfect introduction to the lovable character at the center of the Safety Dog Diego™ series. Bursting with charm, adventure, and gentle lessons, this book shows kids that even the smallest among us can be heroes in everyday life.

About the Authors Angel and Tracey Jimenez – Safety Advocates, Storytellers, and Community Builders

Angel and Tracey Jimenez are a passionate husband-and-wife duo with a heart for safety, education, and inspiring the next generation. Together, they’ve combined their unique talents to create Safety Dog Diego™, a growing children’s brand dedicated to fun, learning, and helping kids grow up safe and well.

Angel Jimenez is a seasoned safety professional with over 18 years of experience in construction safety, OSHA training, and safety program leadership across California. Known as the “Safety Guy,” Angel has written educational safety articles for LinkedIn and recently completed his first professional book, The Safety Mindset, focused on cultivating daily habits for a safer workplace. His expertise, passion for protecting lives, and commitment to education inspired the creation of Safety Dog Diego™, a series that blends real-world safety lessons with heartwarming storytelling and a lovable French Bulldog mascot based on true events.

Tracey Jimenez began her career as a para-educator working in special education classrooms in 2005, where she developed a deep love for helping children learn and thrive. Prior to becoming a licensed esthetician, she worked as a talent and booking manager, organizing promotional campaigns and celebrity appearances. In 2010, she partnered with former MLB player Steve Sax to promote his second book, coordinating signings, including at Dodger Spring Training in Glendale, Arizona—and securing national media coverage. Her experience also includes working with high-profile figures like Jamie Foxx and Tina Knowles.

Today, Angel and Tracey pour their combined experience into books, music, and educational programs that empower children to make safe choices, practice kindness, and embrace responsibility. Whether on a jobsite or in a classroom, their mission is the same: to create joyful, lasting experiences that spark learning and inspire lives. Their guiding motto says it all: “Stay Safe and Stay Well™!”
