COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – If you are a dog owner in the Chattahoochee Valley, your time away from home can soon become something your furry-friend can also enjoy.
“We wanted to create a space for pet families that really reimagines and redefines pet hotels, pet boarding, and doggy-daycare,” said Wassel Lewis, CEO of Ruffined Pet Wellness Club. “This is for those pet-parents that want something uniquely curated for their dog.”
In taking a country club approach, Ruffined Pet Wellness Center is geared to welcome up to 40 dogs through daycare and boarding. With staff on board, dogs can be put through various workout programs, outdoor activities, and spa treatments – all while ending their day with a good night’s sleep on orthopedic beds.
Various membership options even allow you to check in on your furry friend through a camera placed in their room. Through keeping the dogs moving, stimulated, and having fun, Ruffined hopes to inspire dog owners to give their pets the best treatment.
“From the mud baths to the massages, belly rubs and being read to at night – that’s what we do for our dog at home – and we really wanted to implement that here so we can have the same feel,” said Chief Operating Officer, Jarnetha Lewis. “…a home away from home, and even more so.”
Ruffined Pet Wellness Club is located off Francis St. near Wynnton Rd. in Columbus, and will be officially opening their doors at the end of the month.
“We expect the best and we wanted to specifically curate the best,” said the CEO. “We just hope that other pet families feel the same way like we do.”
