A new wellness space has opened in downtown Hoboken, adding to the already burgeoning wellness scene. Zen Om Studio is now open at 129 Washington Street, led by owner and wellness expert Rashmina Haslani. This family-owned wellness center features an array of cutting-edge technologies and rejuvenating therapies and is hoping to become a one-stop wellness spot in Hoboken through cryotherapy, sauna, and more, according to Rashmina. Read on for more about Hoboken’s newest wellness spot, Zen Om Studio.

Rashmina’s wellness story began years ago, growing up in a family that values self-care. Throughout her life, she discovered herself through yoga retreats and attending meditation sessions which are experiences that shaped her profoundly. Once a corporate professional, Rashmina realized she was destined for something else. Life hit hard when she had to go through a surgery that left her unable to stay active. Seeking relief, she tried cryotherapy to help reduce the pain and inflammation. “At first, I thought a 3-minute whole body cold treatment sounded insane! One day I woke up and decided to give it a shot,” says Rashmina. Since then, cryotherapy has become a part of her daily routine in transforming her health.

Driven by the positive changes she experienced, Rashmina explored various advanced wellness modalities to address pain, inflammation, recovery, and sleep. Red light therapy, Infrared Sauna, PEMF, and Compression became a part of her life and she felt compelled to share these transformative experiences with others. With this realization, Zen Om Studio was born.

    The Zen Om Studio Experience

Zen Om Studio’s mantra is, “Awakened Wellness,” a philosophy that takes wellness services to another level, with tailored treatments for every schedule. Its shortest treatment, cryotherapy, takes just three minutes, while the longest is a 30-60-minute session in the sauna. Other modalities fall within the 15-30 minute range.

The studio has a modern, fresh look and has captivating nature murals on the treatment room walls. “Our goal is to create a sanctuary where clients can relax, recover, and renew while offering solace to their bodies and minds,” she shared with The Hoboken Girl back in September.

“Being across the street from Fitness Factory (a new Hoboken gym), there is nothing better than a hard leg day at the gym than an energy-boosting cryotherapy session followed by some leg compression. We look forward to collaborating with other wellness businesses as well so clients can focus on their fitness and then come to Zen Om Studio to focus on their recovery,” Rashmina says.

    Overview of Treatments

Whole Body Cryotherapy: Promotes healing and inflammation by submerging the body through subzero temperatures.
Localized Cryotherapy: Targets specific aches and pains by applying extreme cold to the abnormal tissue.
Infrared Yoga Sauna with Chromotherapy: This helps balance energy centers during a rejuvenating yoga experience.
Halotherapy: A holistic treatment to breathe in salt-infused air to improve respiratory and skin conditions.
PEMF Therapy: Optimizes cellular function through the transformative power of pulsed electromagnetic fields.
LED Light Therapy: Revel in glowing skin and a sense of tranquility with the non-invasive LED light therapy where the simulation of light enters the skin layers to enhance and rejuvenate the skin.
Compression Therapy: By squeezing (compressing) the lower legs to help super-charge circulation, reduce red muscle soreness, and accelerate recovery.

    Dog-Friendly Cryotherapy

Yet, it’s not just humans who will find a warm welcome in the studio. Zen Om Studio extends its embrace to furry friends, offering pet-localized cryotherapy.

Localized Cryotherapy for dogs helps alleviate various conditions like arthritis and joint injuries and keeps them active and healthy.

An added bonus? “Dogs love the cool air treatment and will leave the studio happily, tails wagging and all! We hope the one thing that customers will remember most about their visit is the US. We are a family-owned small business that genuinely wants to help people live and feel better. We want our clients to always feel relaxed and amongst people who care so that they can always walk out of our studio with a smile,” says Rashmina.
