In a groundbreaking move, a Bengaluru-based breeder has made headlines by spending a staggering Rs 50 crore on the world’s most expensive wolfdog — a rare half-wolf, half-dog cross. This unique animal, blending the wild instincts of a wolf with the domesticated nature of a dog, has taken the world by storm. But what makes this hybrid so extraordinary, and why is it worth such an eye-watering amount? The purchase is raising eyebrows in the exotic pet industry and sparking conversations about rare animal breeds. Read on to find out more about this fascinating and costly new addition to the world of hybrid animals.

Bengaluru breeder imports Rs 50 crore hybrid wolfdog from the US

In a stunning coup, Bengaluru breeder S. Satish has paid a staggering Rs 50 crore (4.4 million pounds) to buy a one-of-a-kind “wolfdog” — a rare hybrid of a wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd. The special puppy, Cadaboms Okami, is thought to be the first of its kind and was brought in from the US at the tender age of eight months. Already tipping the scales at more than 75 kg and consuming 3 kg of raw meat daily, Okami is creating a stir in the world of exotic pets. Famous for their muscular physique and guarding nature, Caucasian Shepherds are ideal companions for protection, but Okami’s wolf-like features make him stand out. Satish, the president of the Indian Dog Breeders Association, is determined to bring this remarkable breed to India, and the wolfdog has already stolen the limelight at several high-profile events in Karnataka. This beautiful addition is generating buzz all over the country about unusual hybrid breeds.

Bengaluru breeder profits Rs 25,000 per show with rare hybrid wolfdog

Satish, a Bengaluru breeder, might have quit breeding dogs ten years ago, but he’s discovered a new and profitable means of earning money: displaying his unusual and rare dogs, such as the hybrid wolfdog Cadaboms Okami. With his unusual wolfdog, Satish now makes Rs 25,000 for one 30-minute show. “People can’t get enough of these unusual dogs,” he says. “They flock for selfies and photos, and I get more attention than Hollywood stars.” Cadaboms Okami and the other canines reside in opulence on Satish’s sprawling 7-acre estate, where they each have spacious bedrooms. With a staff of six caretakers to cater to their needs, the canines live a high-life while Satish continues to cash in on their celebrity status.
