An adorable video of a Dachshund dog surprising his owner with his amazing swimming skills is winning hearts on the internet. On Wednesday, the pet parent of the cute furbaby took to Instagram to share the video through the canine’s account, @wildwildwilli. It captured the dog enjoying a swimming lesson against the backdrop of picturesque scenery.

Dog is way too comfortable swimming in adorable Instagram video

A recent Instagram video shows a dog owner’s dilemma after they witnessed their Dachshund, Willi, demonstrating incredible swimming skills. The adorable dog’s parent penned their confusion in the caption of the post, writing, “POV: Your dog thinks he’s a certified fish with fins and a mission” with a fish emoji.

The Instagram video began with the dog getting into the gorgeous waters for a relaxing swimming session. The on-screen text on the clip reads, “Can someone please tell my fish that he’s a dog?” The video then showed the adorable canine’s comfort level in the water as he kept on swimming with his little paws.

With the Dachshund enjoying his aquatic life as a new “fish,” netizens also found the video hilarious and amusing. In the comment section of the Instagram video, one individual expressed their love for Willi’s swimming sessions, stating, “Love the swim videos.” Interestingly, this isn’t Willi’s first swimming video, as the owner had previously documented other instances of the dog’s swimming in the wild.

Meanwhile, another person observed, “Perfect leg action.” An Instagram user even showed their admiration for the little canine and the stunning, clear water, adding, “Willi is the cutest fish I’ve ever seen. Plus, that water is beautiful and so clear! Lucky you to be there.” On the other hand, a person called Willi a “Brave little heart,” and if that ain’t true? Then there was a person who ruefully wrote, “Willi puts my swimming skills to shame.”
