Owner Claims Dog Has ‘Questionable Taste’ About Pillow Choices

There’s nothing more relatable than being so tired you crash wherever you are. For pets, that can mean dozing off next to a food bowl, halfway off the couch, or with their face pressed awkwardly against a wall. One dog’s unusual pillow preferences are now going viral after his owner rated each one in a video that’s both hilarious and oddly charming.

Owner rates what their Golden Retriever uses as pillow in viral video

In a recent viral video uploaded by @zebbythegolden, viewers are taken through a playful review of the odd objects Zebby, the dog, has chosen to rest his head on. And let’s just say, comfort isn’t always his top priority. The clip begins with a shot of Zebby, the Golden Retriever, lying face down on the bathroom floor, sound asleep. Despite the hard surface, his owner awards the bathroom tile a generous 12/10, clearly impressed with how adorable Zebby looks.

Next, the scene shifts to Zebby using a wall as his pillow. The dog leans his face against it while trying to doze off. The wall earns a less favorable 2 out of 10 from his owner, who comments on how uncomfortable it looks. Things get normal when Zebby cuddles up with his favorite snuggle puppy, a soft plush toy that obviously makes for a much comfier pillow. His owner dubs this pick “adorable” and rates it a perfect 10 out of 10.

In the next clip, Zebby rests his head mid-air while lying down, with no support under his chin. The text overlay reads, “His face says it all,” and the “air pillow” gets no sympathy points for comfort. Finally, Zebby settles on a speaker as his makeshift headrest. It earns a 5/10 from his owner, who admits it is creative but questions the logic of using a hard object as a pillow.

The comments section quickly turned into a mix of laughter and mild concern for Zebby’s “questionable taste.” “He’s so CUTE! My girl always uses her Squishmallows as pillows,” one person gushed. Another joked, “I’m just gonna say it Zebby you’re picking more uncomfortable positions as you age. I mean… the wall???” And one viewer tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, writing, “I like to think he enjoys the smooth tunes coming from the speaker so that makes sense.”
